Decide exactly which accounts can log in
Login range control limits your branded WebTrader to the MT5 account numbers you choose. It is useful for separating brands, keeping demo and live clients apart, or dedicating a terminal to one group of traders.
Login range control restricts a branded MT5 WebTrader to chosen account numbers using the LOGIN_RANGES setting, for example 5000-6000,8000-9000. Accounts outside the ranges receive the standard MT5 error.
How it works
Define your ranges
Set the LOGIN_RANGES variable, for example 5000-6000,8000-9000.
Traders log in
The Worker checks each login against your ranges before it reaches MT5.
Allowed accounts trade
Accounts inside a range continue as normal.
Others are refused
Accounts outside every range see the standard MT5 error message.
Typical uses
One terminal per brand
Give each brand its own domain and account range so clients only see the terminal that belongs to them.
Prop firm programmes
Dedicate a terminal to evaluation or funded accounts by allocating them a range.
Tighter access
Stop unrelated accounts on the same server from using your branded terminal.
Change anytime
Edit the ranges in the Cloudflare dashboard. The change applies immediately.
Tip: plan your account numbering with your MT5 administrator before launch. Clean, non-overlapping ranges make multi-brand setups much easier to manage.
